America - A Horse With No Name

 
On the first part of the journey I was looking at all the life
There were plants and birds and rocks and things
There was sand and hills and rings
The first thing I met was a fly with a buzz
And the sky with no clouds
The heat was hot and the ground was dry
But the air was full of sound

하지만 허공은 온갖 소리로 가득찼었어

After two days in the desert sun my skin began to turn red
After three days in the desert fun, I was looking at a river bed
And the story it told of a river that flowed
Made me sad to think it was dead
사막의 태양 아래 이틀이 지나 내 피부는 붉게 타고
사막의 즐거움과 사흘이 지나 난 강 바닥을 보고 있었어
흐르던 강의 전해져 오는 이야기는
날 슬프게 만들었지 그 강이 죽었다고 생각했거든

After nine days I let the horse run free

The ocean is a desert with its life underground
And a perfect disguise above
Under the cities lies a heart made of ground
But the humans will give no love
아흐레가 지나 난 그 말을 자유롭게 풀어줬지
사막이 바다로 변모했기 때문이야
식물, 새, 바위 바위 따위
모래, 언덕, 그리고 고리 모양이 있었지
대양은 지하에 삶을 둔 사막이야
위에는 완벽한 변장을 하고 있는 거지
도시 아래에는 땅으로 된 심장을 놓아 두지만
사람들은 사랑을 주지 않겠지
